The Oxford Rotary Club began January 22, 1965 under the sponsorship of the Hamilton, OH, Rotary club. We received our own charter from Rotary International on June 16, 1965.
The membership of the Oxford club spans the occupational classifications present throughout the community and Miami University. Our vision and purpose is to bring our collective professional business skills, talents, and resources to bear in solving community problems and sponsoring projects to build a better, safer, and more prosperous community. The partnership between Town and Gown is a unique bond that the Oxford Club treasures.
Our efforts are not limited to our local geographical region. Oxford Rotarians are dedicated to advancing the goals of Rotary International worldwide through our International Service programs and a very high percentage of Paul Harris Fellows.
